How retail can use SMS

3. Get more customers through the door – A text message that only allows customers to use to use the special offer in store is an easy way to get more people into your store. And this could then lead those customers to those all-important impulse buys.

4. Tell customers about your new stock – Have you got new swimming items in stock? Why not tell your customers about it, let them know when you have a new range of products in.

5. SMS loyalty program sign ups – By using an SMS loyalty program, your customer can sign up and get exclusive offers and messages when new products are in or events you are holding, that they can only get access to through your SMS loyalty scheme.

6. Use SMS surveys – Sending an SMS survey to your customers after they have made a purchase, with just a few questions on asking how their experience was, is a great way of understanding what they love about you and your products and what areas you can improve on.
